Krishna University Vice-Chancellor Prof B Chandrasekhar formally inaugurated a three-day workshop on micro-scale experiments under the auspices of the Chemistry Department of the University of Science and Arts College here on Thursday.
Chemistry lecturers from all the colleges of the university are attending this workshop, said Dr. D Ramashekar Reddy, Head of the Chemistry Department.
Addressing the workshop, Dr. Ramasekhar Reddy said that the workshop will help the chemistry lecturers to learn how to use fewer amounts of chemicals and get maximum results in less time.
He congratulated the Department of Chemistry for organizing such an excellent workshop and wished for more such workshops to be held. The attending lecturers are advised to impart new information to their students.
Prof. Murugan Subrahmanyan and Prof. Jaya Rajendra, who have vast experience in conducting more than 200 workshops, are supervising the workshop. 40 chemistry lecturers and 15 research scholars from various colleges are attending the workshop
Assistant professors G Ravi, Venkata Rao, K Pushpalatha, Rambabu and others are participating in the workshop.
