The police dispersed them from the road without disrupting the traffic. Calling Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy a Dalit traitor, Chundi Shyam and other leaders demanded that the state government reintroduce all the welfare programs of Dalits implemented during the TDP government in the state.

Alleging that the government has diverted the funds for the welfare of Dalits, they asked the CM to utilize those funds for the welfare of Dalits. He demanded that the Overseas Education Scheme should be renamed after Dr. BR Ambedkar and the dues of Dalit students abroad should be paid immediately.
