Smart meters for all farm connections soon

Energy Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy said that smart meters for agricultural electricity connections will be useful for farmers, adding that the move will not only make DISCOMs more responsible and accountable, but will also give farmers the right to question service providers in case of any defect.
