CM to lay stone for Apache unit on June 23 at Mangalagiri

Apache delegation holding discussions with industries minister Gudivada Amarnath at APIIC building in Mangalagiri on Wednesday.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh will lay foundation stone for the Hilltop SEZ Footwear India Limited (Apache) at Inagaluru village in Srikalahsti mandal on June 23 according to minister for industries Gudivada Amarnath.
The representatives of Apache met the minister in his office in the APIIC building here on Wednesday. The Footwear India unit which would be set up in a sprawling 298 acre a cost of Rs 700 crore will provide employment to about 10,000 people. APIIC managing director Javvid Subramanyam said that Apache would produce Adidas brand shoes. Apache had factories in Vietnam and China also.
Apache group general manager Li said that they already had a unit at Tada which was established when Dr YS Raja Sekhar Reddy was the Chief Minister. The Tada factory producing 1.80 crore pairs of shoes and providing employment to 12,000 persons.
Vice-general Manager (Business) Govinda Swamy Muttu Said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy laid the foundation stone for another unit of Apache at Pulivandula industrial area recently.
APIIC Chairman Mettu Govinda Reddy, Tirupati joint Collector Balaji,ED Sudarshan babu, CGM Lacchiram, OSD Sadhana, general manager Gelli Prasad, Tirupati Zonal manager Shuvana Sony, industries department advisor Lanka Sridhar and other were present.
