CM’s generous gesture to mentally challenged boy

Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy stopped the bus and showed his generosity after noticing the mother and mentally challenged son.

The CM went to Payakaraopet on Thursday to attend a wedding. While his cavalry was passing through Mandapam village of Sankhavaram mandal in Prathipadu constituency, the CM saw a woman Nakka Tanuja and her son Nakka Dharma Teja standing on the roadside.

As the CM asked the security team to stop the convoy, the woman and her son got out of the vehicle to meet them. He explained the health condition of his son to the CM and asked the woman about her problems.

Jagan promised that he would help her son in all ways. District Collector Kritika Shukla has been directed to provide immediate medical help to her son Dharmateja and pension to the woman. The Collector was ordered to provide immediate financial assistance of Rs.10 thousand to the woman.

Mother Tanuja thanked CM Jagan for providing immediate help. Collector Kritika Shukla directed DRDA PD K. Ramani to bring the woman and her son to the Collectorate immediately after the visit. They were ordered to provide financial assistance of Rs.10 thousand along with pension. Later, the officials handed over a wheelchair worth Rs.35 thousand.
