Even after talks at the Corps Commander level, Chinese fighter jets are trying to irritate the Indian troops in eastern Ladakh as they have repeatedly flown over the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
Chinese aircraft have been flying near the Line of Actual Control for the past three to four weeks, which is seen as an attempt to test India's defense system in the region.
The Indian Air Force has mobilized its own fighter jets to counter the threat posed by Chinese aircraft, but the People's Liberation Army appears to be impatient about the IAF's upgrading of its Ladakh sector infrastructure, which would allow for deeper surveillance of Chinese operations. According to sources it is under their control.
The Indian Air Force is handling the situation very responsibly, taking no chances to neutralize the danger and prevent further escalation.
The Chinese fighter jets including the J-11 continue to fly close to the Line of Actual Control.
Government sources said there have been instances of violation of the 10 km Confidence Building Measure (CBM) line in the region in the recent past.
According to reports, the Indian Air Force has taken a decisive step in response to these provocations by deploying highly lethal fighter jets like the MiG-29 and Mirage 2000 to modern facilities from which they can quickly counter Chinese actions.
