CBI registers alleged FCRA violation case involving AAP’s Durgesh Pathak, conducts searches

The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered an alleged Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act violation case against Aam Aadmi Party’s Durgesh Pathak and others. The agency is conducting searches on his premises, said an agency source.

While the details of the case are yet to be disclosed by the agency, last year two purported Enforcement Directorate documents alleging that there were irregularities in donations received by the AAP from sources in several foreign countries during 2014-2022 had surfaced, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
