Actresses Meena husband Vidyasagar’s sudden demise shocks Telugu Film industry

Actor Meena’s husband Vidyasagar passed away on Tuesday in Chennai at the age of 48.

According to reports, Vidyasagar was infected with COVID-19 in March 2022 and recovered. However, he was treated at a private hospital for a short-lived lung infection. On Tuesday his condition worsened.

Meena started her career in films as a child artist and became one of the actresses who played leading lady roles in the late 90s and 2000s. She acted with all the superstars of South Indian cinema.

Friends, family members, fans and film celebs are expressing their condolences on social media. Vidyasagar's body will be cremated today at 2 pm.

Following in Meena’s footsteps, daughter Nainika also made her screen debut as a child artiste. She played the role of Vijay’s daughter in the blockbuster movie Theri. Condolences are pouring in from members of the film fraternity and fans of Meena.
