Two Indian youths traveling in a group of pilgrims have disappeared after a landslide in Nepal's Kapilvastu district on Monday, police said.
Nikhil Kaushal, 17, of Balrampur district in Uttar Pradesh, Suraj Soni, 18, was washed away when he tried to cross a local stream on foot in Shivraj Municipality-1 area of the district, police said.
The landslide broke when they got out of their vehicle, which included about 16 Indian pilgrims, a police official said.
Other Indian pilgrims returning from Swargadwari, a popular Hindu shrine in Puthan district, were safe when the vehicle got stuck in the local current, the official said.
